The Single-Mirror Small SIze Telescope (SST-1M) array is a pair of 4m-diameter Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes (IACTs). Installed in 2022 at the Ondřejov Observatory in the Czech Republic, these telescopes feature innovative SiPM-based cameras and fully digital readout electronics. Following successful commissioning, the SST-1M mini-array has demonstrated its ability to detect very high-energy gamma rays in the range from several TeV to above 100 TeV. Despite the challenging atmospheric conditions of a low-altitude site, the system has successfully detected both Galactic and extragalactic sources. First interesting results have already been published with more in preparation. In this presentation, I will provide an overview of the SST-1M project together with our recent results and future prospects.
